Week 4, Day 3: God is Everywhere

by Dan Weyerhaeuser, Senior Pastor

Hello my friend,

Welcome to another holy, purposeful, accompanied day.

Good job getting this time with our Father. He is looking forward to being with you. Take a couple of minutes to get still. “Hand” Him the things that are on your mind and heart and crying for your attention. Let Him take care of them during this time that you will share together.

Read Isaiah 66:1-2 several times, slowly, out loud.

Read through the text one more time. This time, stop at each phrase and speak with God about what He tells you about Himself. (For example, here are the first two things I speak with Him about as I read these verses: “Thus says the LORD” 1) Thank You Father that you are a speaking God, that you want to speak to us, including me this morning. Help me to hear You, to want your voice, and to follow you. 2) Thank you that you share your name, LORD with me… that we are on a first-name basis. Etc.)

Do you have family or friends who need the blessing of God today? Take time to pray for them.

As you conclude: What is one truth about God from this text you can take through your day? How can you remember it?

Can you think of two people you will see today who don’t yet know the joy of Christ? Take a moment and pray for both of them, that God’s Spirit would give them new birth. Then watch for how He brings you two together.
